House Rules

1. Subject to applicable laws, at least one registered guest for each guest room/suite must be 21 years of age or older prior to the check-in date.
2. A valid major credit card and government-issued photo ID are required at the time of check-in. The name on the credit card and photo ID must match the name on the reservation. All guests must have a valid credit card at the time of booking, upon check-in, and checkout.
3. The home you book is for NO MORE than five people. It will be clean on your arrival, and we ask that you leave it neat and free of trash on your departure.
4. While this is a family-oriented and child-friendly home, children and infants must be under active supervision by a parent or guardian, at all times.  All responsibility and duty of care for them must be provided by you, including their personal equipment and needs.
5. Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. However, all damages or missing items will need to be paid for by you before departure.
6. No unregistered guests are allowed.  If unregistered guests are suspected, the authorities will be engaged.
7. No parties or events are allowed. Although we love celebrations, our properties are NOT a good fit for bachelor and bachelorette parties, wedding party groups, or birthday parties and similar events. We are a small, family-run vacation rental and we have to be very strict on our "No Party or event" policies. We do not book groups for parties, including Bachelor, Bachelorette, and other similar group gatherings. Guest rooms/suites are only for the overnight accommodation of our guests and their invitees within the guest room/suite occupancy limits.  Any guest room/suite occupancy above the limit per room/suite is considered to be a “party.”  All money, deposits, room charges, other fees, and taxes will be forfeited in the event of a termination of the registration agreement and/or removal.
8. No smoking allowed. You acknowledge that smoking is not allowed in any apartment or any area of a guest room, including balconies, hallways, and elevators. If anyone in your party, or anyone you invite, smokes in our apartment or guest room, You hereby expressly authorize the management to charge your credit card the amount of 500 Euro to reimburse the management for the additional cost of cleaning the rooms. “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying any lighted or heated cigar, cigarette, little cigars, cigarillos, bidis, kreteks, pipes, hookahs or joints, or any other lighted or heated tobacco or plant product intended for inhalation, including marijuana, whether natural or synthetic in any manner or in any form. “Smoking” also includes the use of an electronic smoking device, including but not limited to, electronic nicotine delivery systems, e-cigarettes, e-cigars, e- hookahs, vape pen or any other product name or descriptor, which creates an aerosol or vapor, in any manner or in any form. Or the use of any smoking device for the purpose of circumventing the prohibition of smoking in this policy.
9. No pets or animals are allowed in the home.
10. Please respect the noise curfew. Keep your noise to a minimum after 22:00 o’clock.
11. Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
12. For fire prevention and safety - please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving the home. This includes air conditioners, lights, fans, hair straighteners, and device chargers.
13. Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee.
14. Please don’t rearrange the furniture and please take care of the furnishings. Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the rooms caused by themselves, their friends, or any person for whom they are responsible.
15. Please do clean your glasses, dishes, pots, and kitchen utensils.
16. Please take the trash out before you leave by tossing it in the bins across the driveway.
17. Do not shower off the sand from the beach in the shower. Please use the showers on the beach or the faucet in front of the building.
18. No illegal substances or weapons are allowed on the premises. If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
19. To select “Senior/AARP” from the special rate dropdown, you have to be 60+ years old or an AARP member.
20. The guest acknowledges joint and several liabilities for all services rendered until full settlement of bills.
21. Upon or following check out, staff will inspect your guest room/suite.  After inspection, any security deposits will be returned after deducting the cost of any damage and/or extra cleaning required.
22. Management is not responsible for your personal belongings and valuables like money, jewelry, or any other valuables left by guests in the rooms.
23. Check-in time is from 15:00 and check-out time is until 10:00.
24. Regardless of charge instructions, I acknowledge that I am personally liable for the payment of all charges incurred by me during my stay.

Lastly, because this is a private home and not a hotel, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean at all times).
